INDIAN GOVT.THOUGHT FOR PLASTIC CURRENCY

Arjun Ram Meghwal’s statement stated as, “It has been decided to print bank notes based on plastic substance. This process is now started.”Parliament introduced, till February one billion plastic notes of denomination 10 RS would be introduced. The selected cities were Kochi, Mysore, Jaipur, Shimla and Bhubaneshwar. These are easy to maintain and cannot be imitated.Our previous notes do not have long lasting life span and difficult to maintain. Its life span can be as long as 2 years whereas these plastic notes have life span of five years. This can make easy to maintain by bank, while money exchange many of the spoiled notes exposed.
