Back in the early 00s, Bollywood had a completely different batch of leading ladies. The Madhuri Dixit-Juhi Chawla era had ended, and the Kareena Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra-Preity Zinta era had just begun. In the middle of that, many new faces made their Bollywood debuts. Some of these women built successful acting careers, but many others completely moved away from the spotlight.

She had a small role opposite Hrithik Roshan in Fiza, but soon stopped working in films. She married actor Manoj Bajpayee and is settled in Mumbai with the family.Tulip was introduced as Sanjana in the Uday Chopra-Jimmy Sheirgill starrer Mere Yaad ki Shaadi Hai. She acted in the critically-acclaimed film Matrabhoomi and followed that up with films in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Punjabi film industries. She's settled in Mumbai with her partner, Vinod Nair.
