Director General of Police N.Sambasiva Rao intreduced his aim to strengthen police system to meet needs of the people in the State capital.Two police stations constructed at first phase in guntur by dgp sambasivarao own monitoring.one is at Police Parade Grounds in Guntur city another at old guntur police station oposite BR stadium guntur. he has success to built the to construct a Model Police Stations fully fecilitised and attracted police stations with in 45 days only. DGP Sambasivarao has taken this project as serius and prestagius.model police stations means paper less services. said as soon as FIR is registered, complainants would be given a copy of FIR also. He instructed the officials to post the policemen who were interested to work in the Model Police Station for better performance. He stressed on need to cooperate with the complainants.

Reception, central work station, chambers of CIs and SIs, control room and staff room are available in the model police station. Besides these facilities, dormitory facility is available for the police staff. Earlier, the police coming for bandobust and other duties had to stay in the nearby places but now they can take rest in the model police station.the public are wondering over the changing look of the police stations which is good for the reformation of police department. They also sought change in the behaviour of the policemen.
CREDIT TO AP POLICE INDIA'S FIRST TIME PROJECT:
For the first time in the country , Andhra Pradesh government will soon launch mandatory assement tests for its police, dealing with important Acts like SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989. Those who clear the test will be given a certificate in the ecourse.
“Our Director General of Police N Sambasiva Rao has initaioned this e-learning program for the police to enable them in a better way with regard to important Acts, chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will begin this program in Nagarampalem police station in Guntur district,“ PV Sunil, IGP of CID said on Saturday . The uniqueness of the program is that even the Natio nal Police Academy has not launched this kind of e-learning courses for sensitizing and giving more awareness for the police.AP has roped in professional expert Kishan Chandar, an alumni of the IIM Ahmedabad to prepare elearning modules. Each lesson will contain the Telugu lectures in about 40 minutes module and after that 40 minute test will be given to them. Police can answer the multiple choice questions in either Telugu or English languages. Initially, DSP level cadre will be given training later to other cadres including constables.Officials say that police department earmarked required budget for this program which can be extended to employees of judiciary wings also. Training will be conducted in eight identified units in AP.
