HERO NAG AGAIN DEVOTIONAL

STEP

EVERGREEN IN TOLLYWOOD ON SCREEN

Om Namo Venkatesaya is the biopic of ‘Hathiram Bhavaji’, a North Indian Saint who visited South India in 1500 CE (Common Era of Civilization). In his expeditions around the world to find peace, he visits ‘Tirumala’ and becomes an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara. Impressed by his devotion, Lord Venkateswara used to come to play dice with Hathiram daily in his temple. One Day, Lord Venkateswara gets late playing dice and leaves in a hurry leaving his ornament behind which also gets missed on his statue. The trustees of the temple doubt it on Hathiram Bhavaji and take him to King’s court. The King in returns gives a punishment and Hathiram is faced with the danger of death. What happens next? and Will Lord Venkateswara come to save Hathiram? forms the rest of the story.

Director K.Raghavendra Rao sticks to the core devotional point. Devotee Hathiram’s story doesn’t have Sri Ramadasu like arresting conflict point, nor Annamayya’s like emotional outbursts … yet in this film, the director manages to get our attention.First half of the movie is backed by 4 superb songs, while second half is better with core story and the climax is emotional..Akkineni Nagarjuna is a master when it comes to doing devotional films. Om Namo Venkatesaya has loads of senior and junior actors but when you walk out of the theater you would only remember Nag for his performance.
In the film, we can see Nagarjuna Akkineni as Hathiram Bhavaji, Anushka Shetty as Krishnamma, Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu, Saurabh Raj Jain, Brahmanandam, Aditya Menon, Rao Ramesh, Raghu Babu, Prithviraj, Vimala Raman, Ashmitha in supporting roles
Overall, Raghavendra Rao unveils the story of Hathi Ram Baba in a way that is very commercial and easily understood to all. Om Namo Venkatesaya is a decent one time watch for devotional movie lovers.

In North Bengal, tea estates now come in the size of kitchen gardens

The small growers are producing nearly half of the region's annual tea output.

When Subhash Sarkar retired from his government job in Siliguri, a town in North Bengal, in 2012, he put most of his money in five acres of what appeared to be barren land in Phansidewa block, 15 km away. His plan was to raise a tea plantation there. Four years on, this small estate is helping him recover some of that investment. From such small beginnings, Sarkar has now ventured into tea tourism, adding a banquet area and accommodations to his plantation, which he has named Tea Leaf Resort.

And it is doing brisk business. As it was in the case of Sarkar, the lure of tea and better economic returns – in comparison to, say, paddy – has also caught the eye of thousands of farmland owners in Siliguri, the adjoining towns of Jalpaiguri and Islampur, and the Terai. While this region in North Bengal has always been associated with tea, small gardens like that of Sardar, measuring between an acre and 25 acres, are a relatively new feature and are rapidly coming up. Their owners say that if an acre of paddy yields Rs 6,000 a year, a tea plantation of the same size fetches them at least double the amount if not more, excluding expenses on labour, fertilisers and pesticides.Nearly 7,500 small tea growers are registered with the association, its secretary Bijoy Gopal Chakraborty said. He added that these gardens engage a direct and indirect workforce of around 500,000 – almost equal to or more than the big gardens. The small growers and the bought leaf factories produce about 165 million kg, or 46%, of the 365 million kg of tea produced in the region every year..

Holding their own...

Travelling in this region, it is hard to miss the kitchen garden-sized tea plantations sprouting green leaves in the backyards of small and marginal farmers. It is a unique new feature that is changing the landscape here. The orthodox, old world view of the 1,000-plus acres of rolling, majestic tea gardens with shade trees are still there. But by their side exist these small ventures. Where once there were British tea planters, now there are farmers-turned-tea growers. And their influence is growing. Chakraborty said that a delegation of new-generation tea growers, with the patronage of the Tea Board, had participated in a fair in Russia and managed to procure good export orders. But in the past month, this sector faced its biggest challenge yet – demonetisation. “Our weekly payment requirements are to the tune of Rs 20 lakhs but in the last one month, we have received only one instalment of Rs 11 lakhs and our supply chains are totally dry of liquid cash,” said Rajat Roy Karjee, president of the Joy Jalpesh Small Tea Growers Society, the largest self-help group in the sector with 522 member growers. “I don’t rule out a closure if the money flow does not improve,” he added.

ISRO HISTORY...PRIDE OF INDIA ULTIMATE SPACE RECORD
launches 104 satellites in one go

MOUNT OF PRESTAGIUS INDIA IN THE GREAT WORLD.

SRIHARIKOTA:The science india created universal recard at sriharikota space adventure...India scripted a new chapter in the history of space exploration on Wednesday with the successful launch of a recard of 104 satellites at a time  by Isro's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) in a single mission.

PSLV-C37 carrying the 104 satellites lifted off from the first launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 9.28am. It was PSLV's 39th flight.

Seventeen minutes later, the rocket started placing the satellites into orbit, one by one with a time-frame of about 11 minutes.

Out of the total 104 satellites placed in orbit, 101 satellites belonged to six foreign countries. They included 96 from the US and one each from Israel, the UAE, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Kazakhstan. PSLV first injected its main payload Cartosat- 2 series, India's indigenously built earth observation satellite. It was followed by two other nanosatellites of Isro ---- INS-1A and INS-1B.It then took less than 10 minutes for the rocket to spew out 101 passengers, which are all foreign nanosatellites, as it travelled up in altitude reaching the polar sun synchronous orbit.

Russian Space Agency held a record of launching 37 satellites in one go during its mission in June 2014. India previously launched 23 satellites in a single mission in June 2015.Isro chairman A S Kiran Kumar congratulated his team for the successful launch of 104 satellites. "My hearty congratulations to the team. The Prime Minister has conveyed his congratulations," he said.

"We can hit centuries like cricketers'

Director, Isro Satellite Centre Mayilsamy Annadurai said, "We can also hit centuries like our cricketers. In another two months, the number of satellites built by Isro will reach 100. Besides GSLV missions, we have get Chandrayan - 2 ready for launch next year."

Mission director B Jayakumar said the launch involved complex issues in management and maneuvering, "A great moment for each and every one of us. We have so far launched 226 satellites including 179 foreign satellites," he said.

Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre K Sivan said it was the toughest mission they had handled. "We had to ensure they don't collide," he said.

"Last year we saw nine successful launches. This year began with a remarkable event. Congratulations to customers on placing confidence on Isro's PSLV," said director of Satish Dhawan Space Centre P Kunhikrishnan.

All about 104 s atellites

Equipped with panchromatic and multispectral cameras, the 664kg Cartosat -2 will provide remote sensing services similar to that of its predecessors.
Images from the satellite will be used for cartographic applications, urban and rural applications, coastal land use and regulation, utility management like road network monitoring, water distribution, creation of land use maps, change detection to bring out geographical and manmade features and various other land information system (LIS) and geographical information system (GSI) applications.

INS-1A and INS-1B are versatile and modular nanosatellite bus system envisioned for future science and experimental payload.Among the foreign satellites, 88 cube satellites belonged to San Francisco-based earth imaging startup Planet. With the launch, the company has increased its fleet to 143 satellites which will soon begin capturing images of the earth's entire landmass, including India, every day.

Eight other satellites belonging to Spire Global, US, will provide services for vessel tracking and weather measurement....due to the great achivement entire india people feels happy and say Congrates to great global india...
